Visitation of Mary (Mariä Heimsuchung)

The Parish Church of the Visitation of Mary (Mariä Heimsuchung) in Utting am Ammersee, Germany, is the principal Catholic church serving the parish and one of the village's most prominent landmarks. Dedicated to the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the church traces its origins to a medieval Romanesque structure, which was later rebuilt in the late Gothic period while retaining its historic tower. After the original tower collapsed during an earthquake in 1769, a new onion-domed tower was erected between 1773 and 1774. In 1819, the nave was extensively rebuilt in the late Baroque style, preserving the church's rich artistic and spiritual heritage. A modern extension and a new sacristy, completed in 1986, were carefully integrated with the historic building to accommodate the growing needs of the parish community. Today, as part of the Utting–Schondorf Parish Community in the Diocese of Augsburg, the Church remains a vibrant centre of worship, pastoral care, and Christian fellowship. The parish is currently served by Rev. Fr. Xavier Namplampara CST, who continues the Church's mission of proclaiming the Gospel and fostering the faith of the local community.

Kempten, located in the Allgäu region of Bavaria, is one of the oldest cities in Germany. With its rich Christian heritage and vibrant ecclesial life, the city is home to numerous parishes, social institutions, and church organizations actively engaged in pastoral ministry, liturgical celebrations, and charitable outreach. The Dietmannsried Parish Community comprises the four parishes of Dietmannsried, Probstried, Schrattenbach, and Reicholzried, together with several chapels. These parishes collaborate closely to promote the pastoral, liturgical, and spiritual life of the faithful throughout the region. Working alongside Rev. Fr. Martin Awa, Fr. Jiby John Njaralakattukunnel CST shares in the pastoral ministry of the Dietmannsried Parish Community. His responsibilities include assisting in the celebration of the liturgy, sacramental preparation, home and hospital visitation, pastoral accompaniment of parishioners, and supporting various pastoral and administrative activities within the Kempten Deanery.

The Wallfahrtskirche Maria Hilf (Pilgrimage Church of Mary Help of Christians) in Klosterlechfeld, Germany, is one of the most renowned Marian pilgrimage shrines in the Diocese of Augsburg and a significant spiritual centre on the Lechfeld. The present Baroque church is admired for its magnificent architecture, richly decorated interior, and the revered image of Our Lady that has inspired generations of the faithful. The pilgrimage church forms part of the Lechfeld Parish Community (Pfarreiengemeinschaft Lechfeld), which comprises the parishes of Maria Hilf, Klosterlechfeld; St. Martin, Lagerlechfeld; St. Stephan, Untermeitingen; St. Mauritius, Obermeitingen; and St. Ulrich and Afra, Graben. St. Margareta Parish forms part of the Pastoral Unit of Ebingen–Lautlingen–Margrethausen, which comprises the parishes of St. Josef and Heilig Kreuz in Ebingen, St. Hedwig in Ebingen, St. Johannes Baptist in Lautlingen, St. Gallus in Laufen an der Eyach, and St. Margareta in Margrethausen. Among its distinctive features is the renowned Pilgrimage Church of Heiligenbronn, an important place of Marian devotion and pilgrimage in the Diocese of Rottenburg–Stuttgart. The pastoral unit is also recognized for its flourishing parish choirs, youth and family ministries, preparation for the sacraments, and the dedicated service of numerous volunteers who contribute to the spiritual and social life of the Church.

Since 2025, the pastoral unit has been under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Joji Mathew CST, who was appointed Parish Priest by the Diocese of Rottenburg–Stuttgart. A member of the Little Flower Congregation (CST Fathers), Fr. Joji oversees the pastoral care of all the parishes within the pastoral unit, assisted by Deacon Toni Babic and a dedicated team of pastoral staff and lay collaborators. Together they continue the Church’s mission through the celebration of the Eucharist and the sacraments, pastoral care of families, youth and the elderly, faith formation, and the promotion of Christian witness in the local community.

Established on 1 January 2023, the pastoral unit brings together the six parishes of St. Martin and St. Ulrich in Wangen, St. Andreas in Niederwangen, St. Petrus in Deuchelried, St. Laurentius in Leupolz, and St. Kilian in Karsee. United in a common pastoral mission, the parishes collaborate in the celebration of the liturgy, catechetical formation, youth and family ministry, charitable outreach, and evangelization. The pastoral unit is particularly known for its vibrant parish life, active lay participation, rich musical tradition, and the live broadcast of Sunday Eucharistic celebrations from St. Martin's Church, extending its pastoral ministry to the elderly and homebound faithful throughout the region. St. Ulrich Parish, where Rev. Fr. Jordin Kochumuttam CST serves as Chaplain (Assistant Parish Priest), was established as an independent parish in 1964 to serve the expanding residential areas of Wangen. The modern church, consecrated in 1959, together with its parish centre, has become a vibrant centre for worship, catechesis, youth ministry, and community life. As Chaplain, Fr. Jordin assists in the pastoral care of the entire Seelsorgeeinheit, with particular responsibility for St. Ulrich Parish. His ministry includes the celebration of the Holy Eucharist and the sacraments, preaching, pastoral care of families and the sick, funeral ministry, sacramental preparation, and collaboration in the wider pastoral and missionary activities of the six-parish community under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Claus Blessing, the Lead Parish Priest.

The pastoral unit offers a wide range of ministries, including the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, the Sacraments, catechetical programmes, youth and family ministry, care for the sick and elderly, ecumenical collaboration, and opportunities for pilgrimage and community life. It also embraces the cultural diversity of the Church by serving international Catholic communities and promoting active participation in the mission of the Church. The pastoral care of the Pastoral Unit is entrusted to Fr. George Panachickalkarot CST, who serves as the Parish Priest of Herz Jesu, Mühlacker, and St. Joseph, Illingen. Together with the pastoral team and committed lay faithful, he provides spiritual leadership, pastoral guidance, and sacramental ministry, fostering communities of faith, hope, and charity while accompanying the faithful in their Christian journey. Guided by the Sacred Heart of Jesus and inspired by the example of St. Joseph, the Pastoral Unit Mühlacker-Mitte continues to be a welcoming and missionary community, dedicated to witnessing Christ's love through worship, service, and compassionate outreach in contemporary society.

St. Luke's Church in Ellington, Connecticut

St. Luke's Church in Ellington, Connecticut, is a vibrant Catholic parish in the Diocese of Norwich, serving the faithful of Ellington and the surrounding communities. Established on 11 May 1961 by Bishop Vincent J. Hines, the parish was created to meet the pastoral needs of the area's growing Catholic population. Before the church was completed, the first parishioners gathered for Mass in the Ellington High School auditorium. The present church, designed by architect Arthur E. Thomas, was dedicated on 23 December 1962. Over the decades, St. Luke's has grown into a flourishing faith community distinguished by its vibrant liturgical life, faith formation programmes, Eucharistic adoration, charitable outreach, and active participation of parishioners in the mission of the Church. The construction of the parish centre and numerous improvements to the church campus have further strengthened its role as a centre of worship and community life. The parish traces its origins to the earliest Catholic settlers of the region, with the first recorded Catholic Mass in Oxford County celebrated in nearby Beachville in 1835. The first Sacred Heart Church was established in 1848, and the present parish has continued to serve generations of Catholics through the celebration of the Eucharist, the sacraments, catechesis, charitable outreach, and active parish organizations. Today, Sacred Heart Parish is known for its vibrant liturgical life, strong lay participation, youth and family ministry, and commitment to evangelization and Christian service.
