Through the mediation of Fr. George Aranchery CST, Little Flower Province got financial assistance from the Parish of Bibertal, Germany, to start a new Mission Station and the first plot of land was purchased on 07 May 2003 at Ward No: 06, behind the Tehsil Office, Harraiya in Basti District. On 19 December 2003, Mar Dominic Kokkat CST, Bishop of Gorakhpur blessed and Mr. Arun Arya IAS, the Divisional Commissioner of Basti laid the Foundation Stone for Little Flower School. Six new class rooms were constructed in the plot to start the School in the new Academic Year and Fr. Jose Manjiyil CST, Education Secretary of the Province, blessed the building and inaugurated the School on 19 April 2004. On 29 February, 2012, Mar Thomas Thuruthimattam CST blessed the new Priest House and the Priests shifted from a temporary shed to their new residence. Little Flower School obtained NOC from U. P. Govt and Affiliation with CBSE, New Delhi on 01 April 2011 and the School is up to Class Xll with Science and Commerce Streams. More land area has been added to the School through various purchases over a period of time. From the beginning of the School, Development Initiatives By Social Animation (DISA) has its office in the School Campus and social work programmes are carried out in 43 Villages of Harraiya Block. SRA Sisters of Lucknow Province collaborates with Harraiya Mission since 03 July 2006 and they are involved in educational, social and pastoral ministries.
