Media Ministry and Media Apostolate

Recognizing the power of modern communication in evangelization, the Little Flower Province, Gorakhpur, actively engages in media ministry as an integral part of its apostolic mission. In the CST way, inspired by the Little Way of St. Thérèse, we communicate the Gospel with simplicity, creativity, and love through various forms of media.

Through Pushpatarang Media, equipped with modern multimedia technology and digital communication tools, the Province provides live coverage of important ecclesial events such as priestly and diaconate ordinations, religious professions, conventions, funerals, School programs and major celebrations. The ministry also produces spiritual, educational, and promotional content that highlights the life and mission of the Church and the Congregation.

A significant dimension of this apostolate is Pushpatarang Magazine, which promotes evangelization, faith formation, missionary awareness, and shares the spiritual, pastoral, educational, and social activities of the Province. The media ministry is coordinated and managed by our priests, many of whom are professionally trained, while others continuously update their skills through self-learning, creativity, and practical experience. Their dedication enables the Province to effectively utilize modern communication technologies for evangelization and outreach.

Through both digital and print media, we strive to make Christ present in today’s world, spreading the message of faith, hope, and love while fostering communion and strengthening the missionary spirit of the faithful.

Social Apostolate

Inspired by the life and mission of Jesus Christ, the members of the Little Flower Congregation, particularly the Little Flower Province, are committed to a vibrant social apostolate rooted in prayer, compassion, and selfless service. Through our social outreach initiatives, led by DISA (Developmental Initiatives by Social Animation) in India and the Nepal Little Flower Society in Nepal, we strive to respond to the needs of the poor, marginalized, voiceless, and vulnerable sections of society. Sharing in the joys, hopes, sorrows, and struggles of humanity, we seek to promote human dignity, justice, peace, and integral development through education, empowerment, social action, and compassionate accompaniment. Inspired by Christ’s preferential love for the poor, our mission is to be a living witness to the Gospel by fostering solidarity, fraternity, and hope, thereby contributing to the creation of a more just, harmonious, and compassionate society. Through these ministries, the Little Flower Congregation and the Little Flower Province continue to embody the transformative love of God and the healing presence of Christ in the world.

Evangelization and Pastoral Ministry

As religious specially called to share in the mission of the Church, we dedicate ourselves to the work of evangelization and pastoral ministry, inspired by the love of Christ and guided by the Holy Spirit. Following the example of Jesus, who came to proclaim the Good News to the poor and bring hope to the marginalized (Lk. 4:18–19), we seek to make His presence felt through our ministry and service.

In the CST way, inspired by the spirituality of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, we carry out our mission through simple yet meaningful acts of love, compassion, and accompaniment. In collaboration with the local Churches, we actively serve in various dioceses, including Gorakhpur, Muzaffarpur, Bettiah, Lucknow, and many others, contributing to parish ministry, catechesis, faith formation, youth ministry, and pastoral care.

Our pastoral apostolate extends beyond India to different countries and dioceses across the world, where the Priests of the Little Flower Province, Gorakhpur continue their mission as shepherds of God’s people. Through preaching, sacramental ministry, spiritual guidance, and compassionate presence, they strive to build vibrant Christian communities and accompany people on their journey of faith.

Inspired by the Little Way of St. Thérèse, we believe that even the smallest acts done with great love can transform lives. Through our evangelizing and pastoral ministries, we seek to be living witnesses of Christ’s love, bringing hope, healing, and the joy of the Gospel to all.

Missionary Apostolate

Missionary commitment lies at the very heart of the CST vocation. Inspired by the missionary nature of the Church, the zeal of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, Patroness of the Missions, the witness of St. Thomas the Apostle, and the missionary spirit of St. Francis Xavier, we dedicate ourselves to proclaiming Christ and spreading His Kingdom through word, witness, and service. The very nature of the Congregation and the Little Flower Province, Gorakhpur, is missionary, rooted as it is in the mission territories of North India. Through our religious consecration, we are missionaries wherever we serve, carrying the Gospel to people through evangelization, pastoral ministry, education, social outreach, and compassionate accompaniment. Our mission seeks not only the proclamation of Christ but also the integral development and transformation of individuals and society through justice, solidarity, reconciliation, and love. Following the Little Way of St. Thérèse, we strive to bring the healing presence of Christ to all, believing that true evangelization transforms hearts, renews communities, and makes the Kingdom of God visible in the world.

Educational Apostolate

Inspired by the vision of Christ, who came that all may have life and have it abundantly (Jn. 10:10), the Little Flower Province, Gorakhpur, considers education a powerful means of human development, empowerment, and evangelization. Following the vision of our Founder and the teachings of the Church, we believe that the aim of education is not merely the acquisition of knowledge but the formation of the whole person—intellectually, morally, spiritually, and socially—in accordance with the values of the Gospel and the example of Christ.

Committed to quality and value-based education, we strive to nurture young minds with a spirit of truth, justice, love, and responsibility. Through our educational institutions in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Nepal, we serve children and youth from diverse backgrounds, especially those in mission areas and underserved communities. By providing quality education and opportunities for holistic growth, we seek to empower individuals, transform lives, and contribute to the building of a just, compassionate, and enlightened society, thereby participating in the mission of establishing the Kingdom of God on earth.

For the effective administration and smooth functioning of these educational institutions, the Little Flower Province has established two educational societies: the Little Flower Mission Education Society in India and the Nepal Little Flower Society in Nepal. Through these organizations, the Province coordinates and strengthens its educational mission, ensuring academic excellence, value-based formation, and the holistic development of every student entrusted to its care.
